Chop House takes care in their presentation. The tables are formally decorated and the choices for dishes, silverware and napkins were very exquisite. The menu choices were hard to choose from, because everything looked appetizing. The highlight of the evening besides the conversation with my party was the waiter. Every time I almost give up on customer service, I run into a Brian who sets the bar very high. He was a top notch waiter with amazing energy. Yes the meal was delicious, but I would come back in hopes that Brian serves me again. He did a phenomenal job serving our table. My dish had an amazing presentation and it tasted amazing. The wine paired with the dish was perfect. I was able to taste their loaded baked potato and it was divine. This restaurant was definitely a treat.

Our server Archer was great! He was attentive and ensured everything was done right and the timing of the items met our eating pace. We'd had several items including small plate (generous portion), the Blue Crab Soup (very tasty, did not disappoint), Filet was spot on, asparagus with hollandaise served double duty as dipping sauce for some bites of my steak. Crème Brûlée was a nice finish. Wine list had some favorites to help wash it all down

Must make reservations during the time we went which was market around 630pm. Very busy. Staff friendly and attentive. Very clean bathrooms. Has a separate bar area . Atmosphere dimly lite and perfect for a date. Large portions . Ordered the wagyu priced at $90 that night. It was good but nothing great. Definitely not worth the market price. Appetizers were very good.

Great service. Perfectly cooked steak. I had a bleu cheese stuffed olive dirty grey goose dirty martini, Caesar salad and a flier with mushrooms. Everything came out perfect.

Lived here 5 years, drive by this location almost daily, and this is my first visit for a date night! This location offers bar area and dining seating. We had 6:30pm reservations on a Friday and were seated immediately. Not sure if weather came into play (Hurricane Helene just came through), but I was surprised the dining room wasn't busier. Our server was polite, attentive, and professional. The food was amazing! The baked brie came out piping hot. It was topped with brown sugar pecans and accompanied honey drizzled and cranberry topped apple slices and toast points. It was a bit messy (maybe should've let melted brie cool a bit), but a delicious started/appetizer. For dinner, I ordered Carolina crab cakes. The cakes were all crab on inside with light breading on outside. The pecan remoulade was okay (seemed like an odd paring--it was tasty, but I would probably skip next time). Entree came with julienned veggies, a side (I opted for Cabernet mushrooms), and soup or salad (I chose house salad w/blue cheese dressing--as an FYI, the mesquite seasoning on slivered almonds was a bit strong and overpowering for my taste). Husband opted for (12 oz) Prime Rib Special (Fri-Sat--may be seasonal). The Prime rib was juicy and tender, served with horseradish and au jus, a side (he opted for baked potato) and soup or salad (he swapped for another side--beer battered onion rings). For beverages, my husband opted for Oktoberfest on tap, while I drank water. I believe the ambiance is intimate, however dining area was more loud and social. [An older lady seated next to us relocated to another as she did not was to have to talk louder to her dinner guests.] Dress ranged from casual to more formal. We had a table of boisterously loud talkers (most likely coworkers or friend night out scenario) seated next to us and a large festive birthday group across from us. So if you're looking for a quiet, more intimate setting, maybe mention to host for quieter area and/or seating options. Overall, a very good experience. Based on price point, a great place for a"nice" dinner out/date night, entertaining out-of-town guests/business associates, and/or celebrating special occasion (birthday, anniversary, etc.).

Great place for lunch! Food is always good and service is usually very solid.... Very reasonably priced for lunch as well with plenty of options under $20.

When I went to Chop House I had a very pleasant experience. The service was cordial and polished, the atmosphere elegant, and the food well prepared. My filet was a good medium rare, my sides were flavourful. It's unfortunate the other yelp reviews mention poor service or food quality, because I did not have any such experience. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fine dining steakhouse for a special occasion.

The Chop House in High Point offers a charming, old-timey Gatsby vibe that's truly timeless. The atmosphere sets the stage for an elegant dining experience. The plating of the food is exquisite, boasting some of the prettiest presentations I've seen in a restaurant. And the flavors? They absolutely deliver on the menu's promises. But what really sets this place apart are the drinks. Phenomenal and unique options abound, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening. However, our experience was marred by our server, who seemed overwhelmed by our larger party of eight. While friendly, she often needed to clarify our requests, which slowed down the service. The most frustrating part came when I wanted just a bite of my fiancé's meal to try, and our server insisted on bringing an extra plate for me without mentioning an additional charge for "sharing" the meal. This lack of transparency felt unprofessional. Despite this hiccup, we still had a lovely time and would consider returning, hoping for smoother service next time.

This special was a little heavy for my taste, but exactly as communicated, and still very good. The cider wasn't too sweet and the service was impeccable!
